How do I book an appointment?
You can book directly through our website (if you're a current client), or contact us via email.
All first-time clients are required to complete a consultation to ensure we create the best personalized plan.
Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Yes! We ask for at least 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee. Late arrivals will have their session end at the original scheduled time, not lengthened.
If you are running more than 15mins late without notifying the studio, your appointment may be cancelled. No-call/No-show appointments will be charged the full service fee.
What should I expect during my first appointment?
Your first appointment is a consultation where we review your skin concerns, assess your skin health, and discuss a personalized treatment plan.
Come prepared to ask lots of questions and learn about your skin!
Can I bring a friend/my child to my appointment?
You're welcome to have an adult friend or family member accompany you to your appointment. All companions will be asked to wait in the reception area for the duration of your appointment and are not permitted in the treatment room unless for accessibility reasons.
For safety and comfort, children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the clinic unless accompanied by another adult. This helps us maintain a calm environment for all clients.

What services do you offer?
We specialize in corrective skincare through our full skin programs, including microneedling, microchanneling, and tailored product regimens. We do not offer one-off facials.
Are your treatments safe for sensitive skin or darker skin tones?
Absolutely! Our treatments and products are carefully selected to be safe and effective for all skin tones and types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin.
Do I need to use your products to receive treatments?
For best results, we recommend using the products included in your personalized regimen, which are formulated to complement our treatments.
Preparing for Your Appointment
How should I prepare for my treatment?
Avoid retinol, exfoliants, and certain acids 48–72 hours before treatment (specific instructions vary by service). You’ll receive detailed pre-treatment instructions when booking.
Are there aftercare requirements?
Yes! Proper post-treatment care is essential for best results. Aftercare instructions are provided after each session and include guidance on skincare and sun protection.
Product Questions
Are your products safe for sensitive or acne-prone skin?
Yes! All Cocoa Skyn products are formulated to be gentle, effective, and safe for sensitive, acne prone, and darker skin tones.
Can I use your products with other brands?
We recommend using our products as directed to maximize results. If you’re currently using other products, we can advise on safe combinations during your consultation.
How do I know which products are right for me?
Every client receives a personalized product plan based on their skin concerns, goals, and treatment program. You can also take our Skyn Quiz for guidance.
Do you offer samples or trial sizes?
Occasionally, yes! Sample availability depends on the product and promotions. Ask us during your appointment or check our website for updates.
How should I store my products?
Keep products in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Always close caps tightly to maintain product efficacy.
Payments & Policies
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards, e-transfers, and gift cards purchased through our website.
Please note that all appointments require a valid credit card to be placed on file to secure your slot. No charges will be made to this card and you can complete payment with your preferred method at checkout.
Can I use a gift card for services?
Yes! Gift cards can be applied toward your full program or product purchases (both in person and online). They cannot be used for individual, one-off facials for new clients.
Do you offer refunds?
Due to the personalized nature of our programs, refunds are not offered for treatments. We are happy to discuss program adjustments if needed.
Skincare products may be returned within 7 days of purchase if the packaging is unopened. If returning due to a skin reaction or allergy, please contact us for next steps.

Do you offer virtual consultations?
Yes! Virtual consultations (and the full skin program) are available for clients across Canada to discuss skin concerns and create a program that works for them.
